A quick update on twitter activity surrounding president Barak Obama's speech.

. 19,791 tweets referencing Obama over the 41 minutes of the speech

. Mentions of Obama peaked at 620/minute at 13:40 with mention of Climate Change & Great Barrier Reef; then 562/minute around equality

. Brisbane was the 2nd largest timezone amongst people who tweeted (4,502), behind US Eastern time.
In total, 13965 tweets from US time zones, 7036 from Australian.
