QUT's Graduate School of Business is the only institution in the country to have two programs rated five stars in the latest Graduate Management Association of Australia (GMAA) rankings.

The MBA offered by QUT was one of just eight in Australia to receive a five star endorsement, and its Executive MBA also secured the prestigious five out of five ranking.

It is the latest accolade for the QUT Business School, which in May was one of only three Australian institutions to feature in the prestigious world ranking of Executive Education providers from the UK Financial Times.

From next month, the school's popular EMBA program will also be offered at the QUT Executive Education Centre in the Canberra suburb of Deakin.

QUT Graduate School of Business Executive Director, Bob O'Connor, said it was an honour for the school to again be recognised as offering some of the best MBA and EMBA programs in the country.

"We pride ourselves on delivering programs that inspire new ways of thinking and equip business and public sector leaders with the skills to become effective decision-makers and thrive in complex and volatile business environments," he said.

"This ranking shows the quality of the QUT Graduate School of Business programs is directly meeting the needs of participants, business and government."

Recognised as a rigorous and independent evaluation of Australian business schools, the GMAA Star Rating rates MBA and EMBA programs based on criteria including the program content, participants and graduates, size and experience of academic staff and the institutions' links with the business community.
