Some of the state's greatest business icons will be honoured at the Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame 2014 Induction Dinner on Thursday, July 17.
The annual event, now in its sixth year, sees an illustrious group of businesses and business leaders inducted into the Hall of Fame at a gala dinner at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The Hall of Fame records, retells and celebrates their outstanding stories from Queensland's past and present.
This year's inductees, to be announced at the dinner, will be recognised for their contribution to the reputation of Queensland and its economic and social development.
The Queensland Business Leaders Hall of Fame is a joint initiative involving QUT Business School, State Library of Queensland and the Queensland Library Foundation.
Her Excellency Dr Penelope Wensley AC, Governor of Queensland, will induct the nominees and Sharyn Ghidella from Seven News will act as master of ceremonies.
